Party Down

The latest "already cancelled" series I decided to watch. And the latest that's also legen....(wait for it)

Seriously, after finally getting around to Freaks and Geeks and adoring it - even knowing it had been cancelled - and after the trauma of keeping up with Heroes even though each episode was a little more shitty than the last - I decided I could finally risk getting attached to shows that weren't going anywhere. It may have died all too soon, but at least it burned bright (or some shit like that).

Party Down is funny, features loads of cast from Veronica Mars (which is *only* a good thing... regulars and guest stars) - who are all frickin' excellent. For all you glee fans, most of the way-too-short first series feature the scene stealing gym teacher (and from Role Models etc...) but everyone in it plays their part well. There are so many cool things about this show, but more than anything it's just funny, and ultimately that's probably all that matters.

I don't think/know if this show is available in the UK yet. It's probably not... so when it does come, soak it up. I actually can't remember how I got a hold of it (lies!) but nudge nudge wink wink yarr yarr, there she blows cap'n!

I watch so much TV I should probably write about some of it, so consider this the start. Half-arsed TV reviewers of the internet, watch out...

... dary!

MARK MY WORDS: If Jason Dohring can do a half-arsed posh-boy english accent he *will* one day end up playing David Cameron. Seriously, watch the episode he's in (first season) and tell me you don't agree (but nicely).
